AFC Playoffs Standings

The AFC conference NFL playoff picture is not as messy as the NFC conference. The Top 7 teams have the most realistic chance of making the AFC playoffs. Three teams were eliminated from the postseason in week 13.

The Houston Texans of the AFC North division have the conference best record and hold the #1 seed after the Week 13 schedule. The Texans are off to their best start ever in their franchise history. The Indianapolis Colts are not far behind with 2 games between the two teams to play at 8-4.

The AFC East is once again clinched by the New England Patriots, who have won 6 straight games. The Patriots have separated themselves from the rest of their division.

The AFC North has three teams fighting for a playoff berth. The Baltimore Ravens hold the #2 seed as of Week 13 with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals still alive for the division as well as a playoff spot.

The Denver Broncos have clinched the NFC West behind the hot-hand of Peyton Manning and a seven game winning streak.
